Ambleside Guest House has been awarded a "4 Star" rating by both VisitBritain 'Quality in Tourism' and the AA. We have also been awarded by the AA one of their highest accolades - Highly Commended 4 stars. This is only awarded to the top 10% of establishments in any category so we are delighted with this success.

Our Room Rates Our prices vary from £28 - £45 per person per night depending on the time of year and type of room. Rates include a full English breakfast. Children's rates vary according to age (minimium 7 years). Payment by cash, sterling travellers cheques and credit cards (there is a 5% surcharge on all credit/debit cards). We will be unable to take cheques after June 14th due to new banking regulations. Please be aware that should you cancel your reservation or fail to arrive, you may be charged (a 14 day cancellation policy applies). We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets.
